Hi Everyone!
Throughout my worldly travels I began composing photographs as a creative outlet while working as a jewelry designer. I had purchased an entry level digital camera around 2007 without any working knowledge of this new technology in hopes of photographing my jewelry designs for a website. In 2009 I discovered a photography tour guide who specialized in African Safaris. I quickly signed up and rented a lens that was recommended to me and embarked upon a trip that would forever change my life and career path. I quickly discovered my true hearts passion for landscape, nature and travel photography, particularly wildlife photography in exotic locations.
My photography career has since led me on a complete journey of self discovery. I am forever learning not only to look through my lens but rather find challenging perspectives so that my viewer may be captivated by the end result. My approach to nature photography over the years has been to give the animals a voice in their natural environment that is rapidly changing on a global scale.
As an artist it is my deepest hope and desire for my images to inspire conservation, create awareness and protect these wild places so that future generations may enjoy the majesty of the natural world. My adventurous spirit and passion for exploration has taken me around the world and I have felt honored to have photographed upon all seven continents.
I consider myself an artist above all else and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from The University of Texas. I enjoy dividing my time between Dallas, Aspen and the Gulf Coast of Florida.
